Job summary

CAFOD seeks a Programme Quality Coordinator to lead MEAL across its South Sudan programmes. The role reports to the Head of Programmes and collaborates with programme teams, partners and advisers to ensure quality standards, donor compliance and learning.

The post holder will coordinate country MEAL reviews, strengthen safeguarding and inclusion, and support evidence-based decision making for programme adaptation and design.

Qualifications

• Degree in monitoring and evaluation, statistics, economics, development studies, social sciences or related field with MEAL training/certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation and routine review of the country MEAL system and indicators.
• Provide technical review of programme design, monitoring, evidence and reporting against donor requirements.
• Ensure ethical data collection and confidentiality; manage data quality checks and dashboards.
• Support capacity strengthening for partner MEAL systems and learning processes.
• Oversee data management tools (KoboToolbox, CommCare) and ensure results are traceable and used.
