Job summary

A Woman-Owned Small Business is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft consultant to support Enterprise Learning Management installations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of technical experience with a strong understanding of PeopleSoft ELM, SQL, and PeopleTools. This full-time position requires Top Secret/SCI clearance and offers a salary range of $155,000 to $210,000 per year, along with generous benefits including paid holidays and PTO.

Job Summary

• Seeking an experienced PeopleSoft consultant with strong functional, development, and/or administration expertise to support a customer’s Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) PeopleSoft installation
• This position provides hands‑on functional and development consulting services at the client site and requires a cleared professional who excels in technical problem‑solving, stakeholder engagement, and system enhancement
• We are looking for motivated self‑st arters who enjoy solving complex challenges and working directly with customers and executive leadership in secure environments

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide functional, technical, and development support for PeopleSoft ELM within a government or defense environment
• Assess high‑level architectural designs; research implementation roadmaps; conduct feasibility assessments
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable guidance aligned with customer outcomes
• Drive customer buy‑in and facilitate development processes as needed
• Develop, test, troubleshoot, and optimize PeopleSoft modules and system enhancements
• Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions
• Produce reporting artifacts and explain technical concepts to users with varying technical backgrounds
• Work independently and as part of a project team to execute system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
• Make informed recommendations rooted in deep knowledge of the PeopleSoft ecosystem to ensure low‑cost, long‑term maintainability
• Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and contribute to project management activities for small‑to‑medium‑sized efforts

Required Qualifications

• Passion for technology, continuous learning, and exploring innovative solutions
• Ability to translate between technical and non‑technical audiences

Desired Qualifications

• Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of database concepts

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

155,000 - 210,000 USD per year (Ft. Meade MD)
