Job summary

IQ Fiber is seeking a Community Development Manager to lead sales programming for MDUs and secure ROEs while building a durable pipeline in targeted markets with deployed fiber. This hands-on, field-facing role collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Direct Sales to execute go-to-market plans aligned with IQ Fiber's brand and sales strategy.

You will identify opportunities, manage contracts from sale through construction, monitor market conditions, and drive revenue growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of telecom sales or community development experience; MDU-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to build quick rapport with MDU property owners and key decision-makers.
• Proficiency with data analysis and business reporting to support sound, insight-driven recommendations.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience navigating business, legal, and engineering considerations.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a satisfactory driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Secure ROEs and build a 3-year pipeline for planned communities in targeted areas.
• Execute tactics to capture market share, grow revenues, and generate profitable business across all MDU property types in the assigned territory.
• Engage directly with property owners and developers to identify opportunities and validate needs.
• Manage contracts from sale through construction and retention with clear stakeholder communication.
• Monitor market conditions and industry developments to identify opportunities, risks, and issues.
• Develop and manage planning and execution of new planned community initiatives, ensuring customer experience is optimized and sales targets are met.
• Partner cross-functionally to align go-to-market execution with IQ Fiber brand.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance expectations.
