Job summary

Leidos is seeking a passionate Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in the TMPC Mission Distribution System (MDS) and the Weapons Control System. You will contribute to the Systems Engineering process and develop robust software test plans to support defense solutions.

You will collaborate with a seasoned team to scrutinize requirements, design and execute tests, and ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable software for mission-critical applications in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• US Citizen; current possess and active Top Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret SCI security clearance.
• Strong analytical skills with a knack for developing robust software test plans.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and Innovate: Join a seasoned team of Systems Engineers and work closely to scrutinize requirements and execute test modifications, ensuring every detail aligns with meticulously defined standards.
• Own the Testing Cycle: From designing and developing software tests to troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing mission-critical systems, you’ll be an integral part of the quality assurance process throughout the full testing life cycle.
• Analyze and Evolve: Dive deep into software requirements analysis, evaluate hardware compatibility, and build comprehensive test procedures—all while applying industry-leading principles, standards, and the latest tools to drive our software-intensive products forward.
• Operate in a DoD Environment: Bring your experience from DoD testing environments to bear, ensuring that every component of your work meets the high demands and rigorous quality expectations of defense technology.
