Job summary

Leidos is seeking a passionate Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in the TMPC Mission Distribution System (MDS) and the Weapons Control System. You will contribute to the Systems Engineering process and develop robust software test plans to support defense solutions.

You will collaborate with a seasoned team to scrutinize requirements, design and execute tests, and ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable software for mission-critical applications in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • US Citizen; current possess and active Top Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret SCI security clearance.
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for developing robust software test plans.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience. Additional direct experience, training, or certification may substitute degree requirement.

  • US Citizen; current possess and active Top Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret SCI security clearance.

  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for developing robust software test plans.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree with 2+ years related experience.

  • Experience with the Tomahawk Weapon System and familiarity with the Valid Platform List will set you apart and help you quickly integrate into our cutting‑edge projects.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
