Sweetwater Care in Denver seeks an experienced MDS Resource nurse to provide expert leadership across facilities in the Denver area. This consultant will drive the organization’s Quality Measurement and Performance Improvement programs to improve patient/resident care outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include leading mock survey readiness, implementing evidence-based practices, coordinating with clinical leaders, and guiding performance management and safety

Qualifications

• RN license in the practicing state required.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• 3 years of nursing administration experience as Director of Nursing or supervisory role.
• 5 years in long-term care facilities or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of leadership in healthcare preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct facility reviews to assess compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Lead system redesign and implement evidence-based practices for quality improvement and performance management.
• Translate strategies into objectives and initiatives; allocate resources and assign accountability.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders to define initiatives for clinical effectiveness and patient safety.
• Facilitate patient safety activities; summarize data to support improvement decisions.
• Develop policies and processes for quality improvement and performance management.
• Provide oversight for Joint Commission readiness and external regulatory requirements.
