Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse Reimbursement Coordinator (RNRC):
  1. Complete the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), including the Minimum Data Set (MDS), accurately and timely, following State and Federal regulations.
  2. Assist in identifying problems and potential care planning issues.
  3. Coordinate completion of the CAA summaries and involve interdisciplinary staff in assessment and care planning.
  4. Establish ARD dates to optimize reimbursement with PPS.
  5. Supervise and coordinate the care planning system to ensure it reflects residents’ needs and preferences, and ensure schedules are distributed to IDT members.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  1. Graduate of an approved nursing school and licensed as a registered nurse in good standing in the state of service.
  2. Two years of experience with geriatric clients and 1-2 years of MDS and care plan development under MDS 3.0.
  3. One year of supervisory experience.
  4. Proficiency in nursing skills, restorative nursing, assessment, and observation.
  5. Attention to detail and technological literacy.
Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $75,600.00 - $95,300.00, with actual offers based on qualifications, experience, and location.
