Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio (unrestricted)
• Experience in MDS coordination or similar nursing leadership role

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate MDS assessments within regulatory timelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure accuracy of assessments.
• Review and validate MDS data before submission to state database.
• Monitor RUG scores and reimbursement.
• Provide training to staff involved in MDS completion and documentation.
• Coordinate with billing regarding assessment codes and reimbursement processes.
• Support quality improvement initiatives through MDS data analysis.
• Demonstrate knowledge of MDS/RAI process and CMS reimbursement guidelines.
• Communicate effectively across interdisciplinary staff.
• Proficient in EHR and MDS software systems.
