National Health Care Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced MDS Director to lead the MDS program, ensure compliance, and optimize reimbursement through accurate assessments and coding conventions.

Formación

• Valid state RN license is required.
• Advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Experience with MDS processes and coding conventions.
• Proficient in state and federal regulations governing MDS and billing.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee the MDS program, ensuring compliance and accuracy in assessments.
• Determine Patient Driven Payment Method (PDPM) and related admissions costs.
• Monitor Case Mix Index (CMI) for reimbursement risks and changes.
• Mentor and manage MDS Coordinators as needed.
• Coordinate comprehensive resident assessments and care planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure data accuracy for assessments.
