Job summary

Orchard Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator in Towson, MD. This full-time role supports resident care planning, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance by ensuring accurate MDS assessments and timely submissions.

You will supervise MDS data entry, address discrepancies, and provide reports to the DON and leadership while staying current on Medicare/Medicaid rules. Benefits include tuition reimbursement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN, BSN, or LPN).
• Current, active RN license required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a long-term care setting.
• Prior MDS/RAI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all MDS assessments per regulatory requirements.
• Verify compliance with federal and state regulations related to MDS documentation.
• Supervise MDS data entry, validation, and transmission for accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies and validation issues.
• Prepare and present MDS reports to the Director of Nursing and leadership.
• Participate in surveys, audits, and regulatory reviews with required documentation.
