What will you do and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?

  • Make a difference in the lives of our patients through care and compassion.
  • Support your teammates by helping onboard new staff.
  • Promote individualized resident care by coordinating assessments using RAI tools.
  • Act as a resident advocate by managing interdisciplinary care plans.
  • Manage resident assessments for case mix reimbursement and transmit MDS reports per guidelines.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement committees to enhance resident outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, families, and staff.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, preferably with a BSN.
  • Minimum of one year in nursing management within long-term care.
  • At least two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, or geriatrics.
  • Knowledge of Resident Assessment Instrument, interdisciplinary care planning, and MDS 2.0.
  • Understanding of OBRA regulations and current state reimbursement guidelines.
  • Familiarity with laws and regulations affecting nursing facility care.
