Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management is seeking an RN with MDS/RAI expertise to join as an MDS Coordinator in Florida. You will develop, implement and coordinate the RAI process to ensure regulatory and policy compliance across the center.

The role requires active RN licensure in Florida and knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, OBRA, and MDS processes; prior long-term care experience is highly valued. Competitive benefits and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, LTC payer systems, OBRA, RAI and MDS processes preferred.

As an MDS Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring the center stays in compliance with current professional practice standards, physician's orders, company policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.

Entry Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse RN licensure in the state of practice required
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, LTC payer systems, the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA), the RAI process, and the MDS process preferred OR prior nursing in a long-term care facility
