Job summary

Preferred Care at Mercer in New Jersey is seeking a qualified MDS Coordinator for a full-time position. The role involves managing the RAI process, coordinating information across nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to ensure accurate reimbursement.

You will schedule and complete OBRA assessments, track Medicare/Managed Medicare/Commercial MDS activities, and participate in weekly utilization reviews.

Qualifications

• RN with active licensure is required.
• Experience with MDS/RAI processes preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations related to skilled nursing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete the RAI process for reimbursement and quality.
• Coordinate information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services.
• Track Medicare/Managed Medicare/Commercial MDS and conduct weekly utilization reviews.
• Schedule and complete OBRA assessments.
