Job summary

Prairie Estates in Frisco, TX seeks a dedicated MDS Coordinator to ensure accurate RAI processing and compliant documentation supporting Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements. You will oversee MDS assessments, care plan coordination, and regulatory adherence.

The role emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, high-quality resident care, and timely completion of MDS tasks within federal/state guidelines. RN/LVN licensure required with LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Texas nursing license (RN or LVN).
• Experience with MDS and RAI processes in long-term care preferred.
• Commitment to certification and regulatory compliance timelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with Medicare/Medicaid rules and guidelines.
• Oversee accurate completion of MDS assessments and care plans.
• Coordinate weekly reimbursement meetings with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Audit clinical records and train staff on documentation requirements.
• Obtain Medicare-qualifying diagnoses and update physician certifications.
• Prepare for Medicaid audits and ensure documentation readiness.
