Job summary

Robins Insurance, A Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC Company is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator to enhance resident care through accurate assessments and compliant care planning in a dynamic skilled nursing environment.

You will oversee admissions and ongoing MDS assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain documentation, and coordinate interdisciplinary teams to drive quality indicators and optimal resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursing assessments and care planning in geriatric settings.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal/state regulations governing MDS.
• Ability to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident assessments (admission, annual, quarterly, Medicare, change of condition).
• Ensure regulatory compliance for MDS processes.
• Review MDS and care plans for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and utilize MDS software for data entry and reporting.
• Lead interdisciplinary meetings and update care plans as needed.
