Job summary

Envive Healthcare of River City seeks an experienced MDS Coordinator to oversee the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, care plans, and MDS reporting. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure compliant, individualized resident care and accurate documentation.

You have strong leadership in nursing management, a solid understanding of OBRA and state reimbursement guidelines, and a commitment to continuous quality improvement in a compassionate, family-oriented

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current nursing license.
• Minimum of one year in nursing management in the long-term care industry.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care, or geriatric nursing setting.
• Knowledge of the Resident Assessment Instrument, Interdisciplinary Care planning process, and Minimum Data Set 2.0.
• Knowledge of OBRA regulations and familiarity with current state reimbursement guidelines.
• Knowledge of current laws and regulations that influence provision of care and services in nursing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, including assessments, care plans, and MDS reporting.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Ensure compliance with OBRA regulations, current state reimbursement guidelines, and other relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident assessments, care plans, and MDS data.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in resident care and services.
