Job summary

Envive Healthcare of River City is seeking an MDS Coordinator to ensure accurate RAI assessments, care plans, and MDS reporting for residents. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and maintain compliance.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an active RN license and at least one year in nursing management in long-term care, plus two years of related nursing experience.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate Envive's Values to our residents, family members, customers, and staff
  • Coordinate and manage the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, including assessments, care plans, and minimum data set (MDS) reporting
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Ensure compliance with OBRA regulations, current state reimbursement guidelines, and other relevant laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident assessments, care plans, and MDS data
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in resident care and services
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current nursing License
  • Minimum of one year in nursing management in the long-term care industry
  • Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care, or geriatric nursing setting
  • Knowledge of the Resident Assessment Instrument, Interdisciplinary Care planning process, and Minimum Data set 2.0
  • Knowledge of OBRA regulations and familiarity of current state reimbursement guidelines
  • Knowledge of current laws and regulations that influence provision of care and services in nursing facilities
