JOB SUMMARY:

The MDS (Minimum Data Set) Coordinator must be knowledgeable of applicable laws and licensing regulations. Responsibilities include compiling information, preparing reports and data from health records, and conducting assessments for evaluating quality of care and utilization review for clinical reimbursement. The Coordinator also confers with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to ensure accurate and current medical records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the applicable state, without restrictions, or the ability to obtain the license.
• Proficiency with Point Click Care (PCC) preferred.
• Ability to work on-call as needed.
• Capability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
