JOB SUMMARY:
The MDS (Minimum Data Set) Coordinator must be knowledgeable of applicable laws and licensing regulations. Responsibilities include compiling information, preparing reports and data from health records, and conducting assessments for evaluating quality of care and utilization review for clinical reimbursement. The Coordinator also confers with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to ensure accurate and current medical records.
