AVIR Health Group seeks a qualified MDS Coordinator to join our team in Houston, TX. The role focuses on completing the RAI process for each resident and ensuring state compliance, with duties including transmission and verification with the State.

Walk-ins are welcome daily as part of our collaborative culture. The ideal candidate holds a Texas Nursing license with CPR certification and has at least one year of supervisory experience in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Texas Nursing license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar healthcare program.
• Knowledge of long-term care operational standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete the RAI process for each resident as required by State and Federal regulations.
• Transmit and verify receipt of RAI documentation with the State.
• Lead and develop a high-performing MDS team to uphold compliance and quality care.

Qualifications for MDS Coordinator:

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
