Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance pertaining to MDS and related regulations.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and valid CA RN license.
• Ability to comply with electronic records and software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct orientation sessions on the MDS/Care Plan process for employees.
• Maintain documentation of all orientation/training sessions.
• Serve as a resource for resident care planning activities.
• Ensure quality and compliance of nursing services with state/federal guidelines.
• Support program development activities and participate in meetings.
• Access education opportunities and promote communication among staff and providers.
• Seeks external resources as needed and shares knowledge across the team.
• Demonstrates flexibility and maintains standards for attendance and deadlines.
