Job summary

Dayforce seeks an experienced MDM Engineering Manager to lead the enterprise Master Data Management platform, guiding technology roadmap, delivery, and operational excellence. You will collaborate with Solutions Architect, Data Governance, and Business teams to deliver scalable, secure MDM solutions and drive AI-enabled improvements.

You will mentor a distributed team, oversee platform upgrades, integrations, and release planning, while maintaining high standards for quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or related field.
• 5+ years implementing and supporting enterprise MDM (IDMC or similar).
• 2+ years leading technical teams or mentoring engineers.
• 2+ years with Agile delivery (SAFe or Scrum).
• Experience with production platforms including release management & incident response.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology roadmap, backlog, and health of the enterprise MDM platform.
• Lead platform lifecycle management, upgrades, debt reduction, and new capabilities.
• Evaluate and pilot AI-enabled capabilities to improve data quality and automation.
• Monitor platform health, availability, performance, and SLAs.
• Lead implementation of MDM capabilities, APIs, integrations, and workflows.
• Deliver enhancements and fixes using Agile delivery practices.
• Own release planning, deployment coordination, and production readiness.
• Ensure engineering best practices, code quality, and documentation.
• Coach and develop a geographically distributed engineering team.
• Establish engineering standards and operational excellence.
