Job summary

EY is seeking a Functional Architect to lead the management and delivery of client engagements around Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter (C2M) or Customer Cloud Service (CCS). You will mentor teams, support sales and practice development, and help EY build an inclusive, high‑performing culture.

The role focuses on translating client requirements into working MDM solutions, engaging at executive levels, and guiding the design and implementation of complex interfaces and data conversions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• In depth understanding of the Meter Data Management functions
• 5–10+ years of Oracle Utilities implementations
• Experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework
• Proven Oracle Utilities product implementation knowledge
• Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with customers across departments and levels
• Strong business change management; excellent communication skills
• Proficient IT and business consulting practice knowledge
• Superior skills include business analysis, process facilitation, change management, creative and critical thinking, written and verbal communications, technical writing, problem solving, presentations and public speaking
• Handle multiple assignments within a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel up to 75%

Responsibilities

• Works with customers to ensure business needs and requirements are identified and documented
• Develops project objectives and sets priorities with customers
• Plans and manages fact-finding and analysis sessions
• Designs and configures application software
• Analyzes requirements to automate or improve systems and defines solution parameters
• Leads design process and design workshops
• Manages functional scope to reduce risks for client and EY
• Conducts business process analysis for successful rollout
• Provides management for Functional, Interfaces, Business Process Change Management focus areas
• Plans and coordinates workshops and outputs
• Documents daily workshop activities and outputs
• Develops functional designs for RICE objects
• Identifies gaps requiring custom algorithms and plug-ins
• Configures base system and tests configurations
• Authors interface and data conversion strategies
• Coordinates data mapping and conversion program architecture
• Supports deployment and post deployment activities
• Ensures project documentation is up to date
• Re-estimates task effort and identifies risks with EY and client leads
