Zions Bancorporation seeks a Director, Private Placements to lead originate, structure and execute 4(a)(2) private placements for middle-market and large corporate clients in the US. The role partners with relationship managers, corporate banking and institutional investors to deliver tailored capital solutions.

The ideal candidate has a deep private placement network, strong capital markets expertise and a track record of sourcing and closing complex financings.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in private placements and/or debt capital markets.
• Strong analytical skills including financial statement analysis and modeling.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and their interrelationships.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of executing debt private placement transactions from idea generation to final execution.
• Originate private placement opportunities through internal and direct client efforts.
• Provide client coverage and strategic guidance to affiliate bankers to secure lead placement roles.
• Lead investor roadshows, memoranda, ratings presentations, and pricing analyses.
