The company focuses on product lines including Home Organization, Lawn and Garden Tools, Outdoor Living, and Cleaning Tools. The company offers opportunities to work in a production environment involving injection molding and finished goods assembly.

Who You Are

Our Manufacturing Operator on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm) is an entry level position for the production of lawn and garden tools and components. Operators will monitor, tend and operate various pieces of high speed and manually operated equipment in support of our injection molding process and finished goods assembly.

Responsibilities
  • Operate all machinery and production cells as assigned by the Team Leader or Shift Supervisor.
  • Read and understand required paperwork, including Bill of Materials (BOM), Hour x Hour sheet, basic tool prints, communication boards, standard work documents, and quality visuals.
  • Meet or exceed established production rates and standards.
  • Follow basic work instructions with reasonable supervision.
  • Use operator fundamentals: simple problem solving, clear routine machine jams, identify and fix routine/repetitive problems, and notify appropriate support if unable to resolve.
  • Perform visual and simple mechanical quality inspection of products being produced.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Address rework as required.
  • Perform scheduled job duties at a normal pace, occasionally at a rapid pace.
  • Follow required standard work and achieve published standard work goals.
  • Participate in continuous improvement through cost savings suggestions, CI Events, or other related activity.
  • Work and communicate professionally with all business associates.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures; wearing all required PPE.
  • Follow all policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned (training, housekeeping, reporting labor & production, continuous improvement activities).
