Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Low Voltage MCC Applications Engineering Intern for a Milwaukee-based hybrid schedule (in-person Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). You will assist on MCC solutions, manage your own projects, and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Tech Support.

The role involves creating electrical schematics, BOMs, and mechanical models, with emphasis on Rockwell products, PLCs, CAD tools, and customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist on productivity or tools enhancement projects.
• Review and understand customer specifications and drawings.
• Interface with the customer on technical and commercial aspects of the order.
• Resolve and document exceptions and questions.
• Develop knowledge of Rockwell products and be able to speak to their benefits in certain applications.
• Create or modify electrical schematics.
• Create or modify mechanical models of electrical component assembly.
• Provide final factory build documents including BOM.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to provide build instructions and resolve technical issues.
• Support manufacturing for issues encountered during build process.
