Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a LVMCC Application Engineering Intern to assist in custom motor control center solutions across industries. You will manage projects with varying milestones and collaborate with Sales, Commercial Engineering, Development Engineering, Manufacturing and Tech Support to solve problems and streamline customer experience.

You will report to the Senior Application Engineering Lead and have a hybrid schedule—in-person at the Milwaukee HQ on Mon/Tue/Thu.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• Must be enrolled for at least one more semester of school after the internship concludes (graduation date of December 2027 or later).

Responsibilities

• Assist on productivity or tools enhancement projects.
• Review and understand customer specifications and drawings.
• Interface with the customer on technical and commercial aspects of the order.
• Resolve and document exceptions and questions.
• Develop knowledge of Rockwell products and speak to benefits in various applications.
• Create/modify electrical schematics and mechanical models; provide BOM and final factory build documents.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to provide build instructions and resolve issues.
• Support manufacturing for issues encountered during build.
