Job summary

Kaplan North America is seeking MCAT tutors to join a regional teaching team based in the Washington, DC Metro area. You will travel to locations across the region to teach MCAT preparation classes and impact medical school outcomes.

The role offers a flexible, part-time schedule with paid training and ongoing professional development. Ideal candidates are current medical students, gap-year graduates, or advanced undergraduates preparing for medical school.

Qualifications

• Scores above 515 on the MCAT.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently with a remote manager.
• Passion for helping others achieve their goals.
• Respond to quickly changing needs with agility and flexibility.
• Travel required – lead time, locations and dates determined by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person MCAT preparation sessions across regional locations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to tailor content.

• Support students in and out of class, enabling critical thinking across sciences.
• Continue to learn via professional training, coaching, and development.
