Job summary

Kaplan North America, the world leader in test preparation, seeks MCAT Prep Instructors to teach across the Baltimore metro area. You will deliver MCAT instruction, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor students using Kaplan’s pre-existing curriculum, traveling to sites like Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland.

Paid training is provided, and you’ll enjoy a flexible, part-time schedule with opportunities for additional work as needed.

Qualifications

MCAT score above 515.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to work independently with a remote manager.
Willing to travel and teach across regional locations.

Responsibilities

Teach in-person MCAT prep sessions across regional locations.
Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to tailor MCAT content to student needs.
Prepare students using a curated curriculum to immerse them in MCAT language.
Support students in and out of class, enabling problem solving with critical thinking.
Continue to learn via professional training, coaching, and development.
Maintain a flexible, part-time teaching schedule.
Connect with colleagues remotely while training and class prep from home.
Potential for additional part-time opportunities based on business needs.
