Job summary

Kaplan, Inc. is hiring MCAT test prep enthusiasts for our regional teaching team in the Washington, DC Metro area.

This part-time role involves traveling to different locations across the area to teach MCAT prep using Kaplan's curriculum. You will be supported by paid training, ongoing development to sharpen teaching, presenting, and mentoring skills, and the ability to connect with colleagues remotely while preparing classes from home.

Qualifications

• Scores above 515 on the MCAT.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently with a remote manager.
• Passion for helping others achieve their goals.
• Respond to quickly changing needs with agility and flexibility.
• Travel required – locations and dates determined by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person MCAT preparation sessions across a variety of regional locations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver MCAT prep and/or other educational content.
• Prepare future doctors for the exam using a curated curriculum.
• Support students in and out of class to foster critical thinking in the sciences.
• Continue professional development through training and coaching.
• Enjoy a flexible, part-time teaching schedule.
• Connect with colleagues remotely while training and class prep from home.
