Job summary

Kaplan North America is seeking MCAT Prep Instructor to join our regional teaching team based in the New York Metro Area, serving Manhattan, Stony Brook, and Queens. Travel to various locations across the area will be required as you deliver MCAT prep using Kaplan’s curriculum.

This part-time, in-person teaching role offers paid training, ongoing professional development, and the opportunity to influence future doctors. Flexible hours and remote collaboration with a remote manager are supported.

Qualifications

• MCAT score of 515 or higher.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently with a remote manager.
• Passion for helping others achieve goals.
• Able to respond quickly to changing needs with agility.
• Travel required; locations and dates vary by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person MCAT preparation sessions across regional locations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to tailor MCAT content to student needs.
• Use the provided curriculum to immerse students in MCAT language.
• Support students in and out of class to enhance critical thinking across sciences.
• Engage in ongoing professional training, coaching, and development.
• Maintain a flexible, part-time teaching schedule.
• Coordinate with colleagues remotely while completing training and prep from home.
