Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for Systems Engineer/Modeling & Simulation at the 2/3 level in Melbourne, FL. You will help develop and maintain system-level modeling and simulation architectures to design, analyze, and verify complex aerospace systems.
Under supervision of senior engineers, you will define capabilities, interfaces, and MBSE approaches, contributing to model artifacts, DoDAF/SysML viewpoints, and performance evaluations with the customer.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
- Foundation in MBSE and architecture development.
- Exposure to modeling and simulation environments and tools.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain Mod & Sim system architectures for design, integration, and test.
- Develop architecture concepts and use cases for the modeling and simulation environment.
- Perform functional analysis, requirements allocation, and interface definitions for Mod & Sim.
- Contribute to DoDAF/SysML viewpoints and model artifacts describing architectures and data flows.
- Collaborate with vehicle/design teams to support design decisions and test planning.
