Job summary

Albers Aerospace in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Systems Engineer to model and analyze complex systems, collaborating with lead architects, technical leadership, and program management to capture requirements and architectures for customer projects.

You will perform model development, analyses, and reviews, while leading smaller tasks and helping produce design specifications, coordinating with engineering, logistics, and management to ensure rigorous documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM discipline required.
• Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo Simulation Toolkit, and/or SysML enabled tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, scheduling, and analytical skills.
• Experience with working on small agile teams.
• Experience with modeling and simulation tool sets and software.
• Experience in risk analysis and risk management programs.
• Experience providing engineering design analysis to identify problems affecting components or systems in the field.
• UI familiarity with aviation airworthiness certification processes preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with TS clearance.
• 1 year Experience with Cameo or similar MBSE software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct work of engineers and stakeholders as SME.
• Develop and review system models and analyses under minimal supervision.
• Lead smaller tasks and portions of models or analysis.
• Support generation of design specifications and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, finance, and program management to define requirements.
• Maintain filing systems or databases for tracking project status.
• Produce technical documentation and system specifications.
• Verify compliance with engineering standards and test procedures.
• Support development of technical proposals and assess scope of work.
