Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program on-site in Huntsville, AL.

The role focuses on MBSE, requirements development and verification, system architecture, and engineering artifacts using DOORS and Cameo. The successful candidate will contribute to defense and missile defense systems engineering, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support software verification efforts.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related experience; Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of related experience; or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Solid understanding of systems engineering processes and principles with demonstrated experience applying them to product solution development.
• Familiarity with DOORS, Cameo, and MBSE.
• Experience with software development and requirements verification.
• Ability to develop and capture technical concepts in engineering work products, presentations, and technical discussions.
• Must be able to support an in-person, closed-area work environment and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering activities for the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program and Ground Fire Control (GFC) product.
• Apply systems engineering processes and principles to develop product solutions.
• Support requirements development, analysis, management, and verification.
• Apply MBSE methodologies using DOORS and Cameo.
• Develop and maintain systems engineering work products, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across varying experience levels.
• Support software development and requirements verification activities.
