Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in Navy shipbuilding and defense systems.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering principles.
• Knowledge of SysML or UML modeling languages.
• Experience with cross-platform MBSE/digital environments and modeling tools.
• Knowledge of DoDAF/UAF frameworks.
• Experience with unmanned systems architecture is preferred.
• 4+ years' experience in US Navy fleet systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Apply modeling to support requirements, design, verification, and validation across lifecycle phases.
• Provide MBSE analysis including open architecture model development and documentation.
• Use models to support trade studies in system-of-system architectures.
• Support development and review of models, documents, and review boards.
• Assist in drafting technical acquisition documentation and test planning.
