DP Professionals (DPP) seeks a Systems Engineer 3-5 for an onsite 12-month W2 contract in San Diego, CA. The role applies Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo and DOORS to develop system architecture and translate customer requirements into detailed specifications across the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Software, or related STEM field with 5 years of experience; or 3 years’ experience with a Master's degree; or 1 year with a STEM PhD.
• US Citizen and current/active Secret clearance.
• Experience with MBSE, Cameo, DOORS, and systems engineering processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into system specifications using DOORS.
• Develop systems architecture with Cameo Enterprise Architecture.
• Collaborate with IPT teams to ensure schedule, cost, and performance aligns with needs.
• Provide cross-IPT support and participate in ERBs and program reviews.
