Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Solutions Architect Digital Engineer to support mission-critical initiatives and advance MBSE-driven architectures. You will analyze requirements, develop model-based solutions, and demonstrate traceability from operational to functional levels while communicating with customers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS with 10+ years' related experience, 2+ years of SysML modeling (Cameo), Java experience, cloud/DevSecOps familiarity, and the ability to obtain a SECRET

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science with 10+ years experience required.
• Experience: 10+ years of related experience.
• Technical skills: 2+ years experience with SysML modeling using Dassault Cameo.
• Proficiency in Java programming to drive Cameo via its OpenAPI.
• Proficiency in Java programming with Apache TinkerPop Gremlin API.
• Demonstrable experience with Agile software development.
• Cloud computing, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and DevSecOps knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead/Manage/Support MBSE across multiple abstraction layers and ensure traceability to requirements.
• Develop model-based solution architectures for rapid capability development and demonstration.
• Articulate MBSE concepts such as requirements traceability and design performance via simulation.
• Identify risks to inform cost and schedule impacts to performance.
• Collaborate with other digital engineers and client representatives to form appropriate solutions.
• Drive pursuit of best practice excellence for MBSE across the organization.
• Utilize MBSE techniques and tools appropriate to mission needs.
