Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks an MBSE Engineer with 5+ years of related experience to analyze system operations and decompose systems using OMG frameworks such as UML, DoDAF 2.0/UPDM, SysML, and UAF. You will model systems from capability to functional levels using UML-based tools like Cameo Enterprise Architect.

This role requires US citizenship and a Secret clearance, with remote work possible and occasional onsite duties near Hanscom or a DAF base.

Qualifications

• Experience in MBSE engineering and modeling across systems perspectives.
• Familiarity with UML-based analysis and OMG/UAF frameworks.
• Knowledge of DoDAF 2.0/UPDM and SysML is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system operations and perform system decomposition.
• Model systems via UML/DoDAF/SysML across multiple abstraction levels.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and capabilities.
• Extend UML models to other tools or modeling environments via APIs.
• Present data and reports to customers and peers.
