Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support NC3 in a DoD program in Dedham, MA.

The role focuses on MBSE methodologies, SysML modeling, and architecture using Cameo Systems Modeler, pursuing secure, agile development within a DoD framework. The candidate will develop and maintain SysML diagrams, perform requirements analysis, and ensure traceability with tools like DOORS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related field.
• MBSE with Cameo; sysML models (behavioral, structural, requirements).
• Experience with DoDAF or similar frameworks for digital engineering initiatives.
• Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS) and model integration.
• Knowledge of MBSE methodologies and complex system architecture.
• Experience in DoD environment and Agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Apply MBSE to design, implement, and deploy Strategic Weapon Systems for NC3.
• Develop and maintain SysML models across behavioral, structural, and requirements diagrams.
• Use Cameo and MBSE to architect complex systems and communicate designs.
• Perform functional decomposition, interface definition, requirements analysis, and trade studies.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses through SDLC.
• Develop and evaluate systems, networks, and information systems against gov security specs.
• Create system security documentation and support accreditation, certification, and testing.
• Generate engineering products across the system development life cycle.
• Manage and trace requirements using tools like DOORS and DOORS Next Generation.
• Integrate requirements with models to improve traceability and workflows.
• Apply DoDAF or similar frameworks to support system architecture and digital engineering initiatives.
• Support systems engineering and test engineering in Agile environments.
• Contribute to engineering frameworks and methodologies used across products.
• Explore MBSE/AI-driven approaches to improve processes and innovation.
