Job summary

Trident Systems in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Systems Engineer to support MBSE-driven system architecture, requirements, and verification artifacts for the CBM+ program. You will develop architectures with Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML, maintain DoDAF views, capture requirements, ensure traceability, and assist with verification plans, test cases, and government coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field.
• 1–3 years of systems engineering experience.
• Understanding of systems engineering lifecycle and MBSE concepts.
• Familiarity with SysML modeling and MBSE methodologies.
• Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system architecture models using Cameo and SysML.
• Create and maintain DoDAF architectural views (operational, system, data).
• Define and document system requirements and verification artifacts.
• Collaborate with government customers and stakeholders to elicit and manage requirements.
• Develop verification plans, test cases, and procedures; support validation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and present findings to teams and leadership.
