Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer in Melbourne, FL to lead integration, verification, and validation across hardware, software, and networks. You will champion MBSE/MBT practices and translate system models into robust test cases and artifacts.

The role requires strong experience with Cameo Systems Modeler, requirements traceability, and collaboration across systems, software, and network teams, with opportunities to support critical defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field with minimum 4 years’ relevant experience, or graduate degree with at least 2 years’ experience.
• 8+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of experience in integration & test engineering for system/network environments.
• Experience performing formal systems testing in lab, integration, or operational settings.
• Experience interpreting and validating system requirements with traceability.
• Experience using Cameo Systems Modeler or similar MBSE tools.
• Ability to obtain FAA public trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily integration and test engineering support for government and DoD customers.
• Support system integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution across hardware, software, and networks.
• Develop and execute integration, verification, and validation tests for complex systems.
• Use MBSE methods to support model-based testing and end-to-end traceability.
• Translate models and requirements into test cases and verification artifacts.
• Maintain bidirectional traceability between customer requirements, models, and test results.
• Coordinate with engineering and leadership to ensure complete verification coverage.
• Support automated and manual test execution in lab and system environments.
• Develop test scenarios and acceptance tests for system-level requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, interfaces, networking.
