Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Melbourne, FL is seeking an experienced Software Integration & Test Engineer to support integration, testing, verification, and operational readiness of mission management software in an on-premises ground system.

Responsibilities include deployment support, environment configuration, interface testing, defect investigation, and cross-team coordination across software, networks, and cybersecurity. Prior OS/COMET and TT&C exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 2+ years acceptable.
Experience in software integration, test, system integration, or verification and validation.
Experience with on-premises mission management ground systems or similar environments.
Experience deploying, configuring, and testing software in integrated environments.
Troubleshooting software and interface issues in networked systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement automated tests to validate software and system functionality in On-Premises environments.
Support and maintain the factory test system for Mission Management elements and simulators.
Coordinate hardware and software integration in data center environments, including deployment and troubleshooting.
Work with servers, workstations, networks, NAS/SAN, and Linux/Windows operating systems.
Author and review Work Orders for Testing and collaborate with teams for deployments.
