Job summary
RTX is seeking a systems engineer to apply MBSE and Digital Engineering across the full lifecycle. You will support program and customer Digital Transformation initiatives, including roadmap development and implementation. You will provide MBSE and systems engineering support to the Systems Integration team, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to drive digital continuity and model governance. Location: Alexandria, Virginia.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent.
- Experience in MBSE and Cameo (or similar tools like Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect, Capella).
- Experience with UAF for defense/aerospace environments, Digital Engineering practices, and tool chains to enhance design, integration, and test workflows.
- Experience with systems engineering processes (requirements, architecture, integration, verification & validation).
- Active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Apply MBSE and Digital Engineering practices across the full system engineering lifecycle.
- Support program and customer Digital Transformation initiatives, including roadmap development and implementation.
- Provide MBSE and systems engineering support to the Systems Integration team, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
- Collaborate across multi-disciplinary engineering teams to drive digital continuity, configuration management, and model governance.
- Contribute to the development of MBSE best practices, templates, and modeling standards.
