Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced MBSE/Systems Engineer to apply MBSE and Digital Engineering across the full system lifecycle, supporting digital transformation initiatives and aligning with the Systems Integration team.

You will collaborate across multi-disciplinary engineering groups to improve modeling standards and governance, driving engineering maturity and consistency. An active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) preferred.
• 8+ years of engineering experience or equivalent.
• Active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly clearance required; U.S. citizenship is required.

What You Will Do

• Apply MBSE and Digital Engineering practices across the full system engineering lifecycle.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
• Experience in MBSE and Cameo (or similar tools like Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect, Capella).
• Experience with unified Architecture Framework (UAF) for defense/aerospace environments, Digital Engineering practices, and tool chains to enhance design, integration, and test workflows.
• Experience with systems engineering processes (requirements, architecture, integration, verification & validation).
• An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Advance innovation in modeling, simulation, and automation as part of a growing MBSE capability.
• Experience with project management and/or system integration.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor).
• Experience in enterprise-level planning, testing, and implementation.

• The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
