Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in manufacturing engineering, digital engineering, or related technical field.
• Significant hands-on experience implementing MBD/MBE workflows.
• Strong understanding of digital product definition, PMI, GD&T, and engineering data standards.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14.5, ASME Y14.41, STEP AP242, and QIF.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical assessments of manufacturing organizations to evaluate their model-based engineering and digital manufacturing capabilities.
• Assess current engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product data management practices.
• Apply MBE maturity assessment frameworks to evaluate capabilities and identify improvements.
• Identify gaps in model-based definition, engineering data management, and downstream information use.
• Develop practical short-, medium-, and long-term digital transformation recommendations.
• Create implementation roadmaps to advance model-based engineering capabilities.
• Prepare technical assessment reports documenting findings and recommended improvements.
• Present findings and recommendations to engineering teams, manufacturing leaders, and business stakeholders.
