Hadrian is building autonomous manufacturing capabilities in the U.S. This Manufacturing Engineer, MBD role focuses on converting legacy data and prints into model-based definitions, guiding software requirements and quality checks.

You will work with a team to ensure precision in welded, machined, and assembled components, shaping the future of smart manufacturing. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in CAD modeling, strong MBD skills, and PLM experience with Teamcenter, CATIA or NX.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience in CAD modeling with focus on drawings and product definition (MBD authoring, drawing checking, or legacy data conversion).
• Reads messy legacy prints across welding, assembly, NDT, and machining callouts and resolves ambiguity against specs.
• GD&T to ASME Y14.5 and MBD/PMI to Y14.41; authoring definition for manufacturing/inspection.

Responsibilities

• Work through customer packages across welding, assembly, NDT, and machining requirements and author them onto the model as linked MBD.
• Review Hadrian's software outputs, correct as needed, and report errors to the software team.
• Help define the standard workflow and quality checks so a larger team can run the work in the software.
• Review other engineers' output against the definition standard.
• Train engineers and specialists who join the team.
