Job summary

Elms is seeking a dynamic executive to provide strategic and operational leadership for the MBA Program. You will align the program with institutional goals, oversee admissions, and drive recruitment in collaboration with Marketing.

The role includes managing accreditation activities with IACBE, developing curricula that meet evolving needs, and guiding faculty development. Strong communication and confidentiality per FERPA are essential.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent degree required.
• 7–10 years of experience in academia or industry with 5 years in leadership.
• Experience with IACBE-accredited MBA programs preferred.
• Teaching in online or hybrid formats preferred.
• Excellent communication and writing skills; confidentiality per FERPA.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational oversight of the MBA Program.
• Develop and implement a strategic plan aligned with the division and institution.
• Direct MBA admissions and evaluate applications; oversee enrollment transitions.
• Lead recruitment strategy and coordinate with Marketing for outreach.
• Stay current on MBA program trends and delivery modes.
• Build and lead an MBA Advisory Council with community leaders.
• Oversee curriculum evaluation to meet student needs.
• Represent the MBA program publicly at events and open houses.
• IACBE accreditation planning, reporting, and self-study coordination.
• Manage class schedules with academic chairs and program directors.
• Mediation and resolution of student and personnel issues per college policy.
• Recruit, interview, and renew MBA faculty; provide mentoring.
• Administer the MBA budget; oversee staff and program coordinator.
