Job summary

Republic Services offers a 10-week MBA Internship Program designed for first-year MBA students to gain hands-on experience in field operations and strategic project work. Interns rotate through Operations, Finance, Maintenance, Sales, and Administration at locations nationwide, guided by a program manager and mentor.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotations across Operations, Finance, Maintenance, Sales, and Administration.
• Execute project deliverables identified by functional leaders and present findings to key stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement and growth.
• Develop professional documents and communications related to project outcomes.
• Engage with employees and leadership teams to understand business drivers and operational challenges.
• Learn how to influence financial outcomes and contribute to strategic decision‑making.
• Adhere to the formal training curriculum and complete all assigned tasks within the internship timeframe.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.
