Job summary

Republic Services MBA Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship designed for first-year MBA students to gain hands-on experience in field operations and strategic project work. Interns are placed at locations across the country and are supported by a dedicated program manager and mentor throughout the experience.

This internship offers direct exposure to executive leadership and opportunities to contribute to high-impact initiatives that drive business performance.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated interest in operations, leadership, and business strategy.
• Currently enrolled in the first year of an accredited MBA program.
• Ability to commit to a full-time, 10-week internship beginning in June.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotations across Operations, Finance, Maintenance, Sales, and Administration.
• Execute project deliverables identified by functional leaders and present findings to key stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement and growth.
• Develop professional documents and communications related to project outcomes.
• Engage with employees and leadership teams to understand business drivers and operational challenges.
