Republic Services offers a dynamic, 10-week MBA Internship Program designed for first-year MBA students to gain hands-on experience in field operations and strategic projects. Interns are placed nationwide and mentored by a program manager, with exposure to executive leadership and potential for full-time opportunities.

Participants rotate through Operations, Finance, Maintenance, Sales, and Administration, delivering project outcomes and learning to influence strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotations across functional areas such as Operations, Finance, Maintenance, Sales, and Administration.
• Execute project deliverables identified by functional leaders and present findings to key stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement and growth.
• Develop professional documents and communications related to project outcomes.
• Engage with employees and leadership teams to understand business drivers and operational challenges.
• Learn how to influence financial outcomes and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Adhere to the formal training curriculum and complete all assigned tasks within the internship timeframe.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.
