Republic Services offers a dynamic MBA Internship Program designed as a 10-week, paid experience for first-year MBA students. Interns gain hands-on exposure to field operations and strategic projects while being mentored by program leaders and executives.

The program provides opportunities for high-potential interns to be considered for full-time roles, including GMAP, and exposure to senior leadership across locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in operations, leadership, and business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotations across functional areas such as Operations, Finance, Maintenance, Sales, and Administration.
• Execute project deliverables identified by functional leaders and present findings to key stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement and growth.
• Develop professional documents and communications related to project outcomes.
• Engage with employees and leadership teams to understand business drivers and operational challenges.
• Learn how to influence financial outcomes and contribute to strategic decision‑making.
• Adhere to the formal training curriculum and complete all assigned tasks within the internship timeframe.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.
